It could be said that Foremark’s founder and CEO, Clark Knippers, grew up in the restaurant business.

He had a front row seat when his father and restaurant icon Norman Brinker joined forces together in 1967 to grow Steak and Ale from a local brand with only a handful of locations to one of the most successful restaurant concepts of all time with hundreds of locations throughout the United States.

Armed with a familial connection to the restaurant industry, education, knowledge and experience running Brinker International Real Estate and Construction division, Clark founded Foremark Real Estate Services in 1997, with the mission of providing restaurant companies without the deep resources of a large company best-in-class services to help their brands expand and grow.
